Summary

A homeowner in Armonk wanted to transform their backyard into a functional outdoor living area. The project called for the removal of failed retaining walls and the installation of a new patio, outdoor kitchen, and fire pit. Our team was brought in to handle all phases of the work, from demolition to the final details.

The Work

Demolished and removed the existing retaining walls and prepared the area for construction
Installed a new paver patio with a Nicolock Alpine Ridge pattern and bluestone treads
Built interlocking retaining walls and caps around a hot tub and window well for stability
Constructed a fire pit and a dry stack stone outdoor kitchen with new appliances and a pergola
Ran new gas and electrical lines for the outdoor kitchen and fire pit
Performed all site protection, equipment setup, and comprehensive cleanup

The Outcome

The backyard now features a solid paver patio, a fully equipped outdoor kitchen, and a built-in fire pit, all supported by reinforced retaining walls. The space is ready for entertaining and daily use, with an improved foundation that addresses previous structural issues.
