Summary

This front house planting project called for a thoughtful mix of evergreens and perennials to refresh an underwhelming entry. The homeowners wanted a more welcoming and vibrant look without overwhelming the space.

The Work

Cleared and prepped garden beds, removing weeds and debris
Planted dwarf Alberta spruce, boxwoods, hydrangea, astilbe, catmint, and lime green sedum with root fertilizer
Refreshed bed edges and distributed black mulch evenly

The Outcome

The new planting added structure and color, framing the front steps with balanced layers. The black mulch gives a clean finish and helps the plants thrive. The entrance now feels inviting and well-tended.
