Summary

This backyard started as a blank slate with bare earth and scattered rocks. The homeowners wanted a garden that would bring new life to the patio area with a thoughtful mix of evergreens, flowering plants, and fresh ground cover. Our work began with a full garden clean up and ended with every detail in place for a striking outdoor setting.

The Work

Removed all existing plants, weeds, and debris to prepare the beds
Planted 5 Emerald Green trees, 3 Boxwoods, 2 Annabelle Hydrangeas, 5 Coneflowers, 3 Catmint, 3 Lavenders, 3 Spirea, 5 Alyssum, 4 Ajuga, 4 Lime Green Sedum, daffodils, and 3 Creeping Phlox
Added root fertilizer and prepared soil for proper growth
Refreshed garden bed edges and installed a uniform layer of black mulch for a crisp finish

The Outcome

The newly planted garden now features a balanced mix of structure and color, with evergreens anchoring the space and a variety of perennials and ground covers adding texture. The black mulch gives every plant a bold backdrop. This space now feels complete, ready to enjoy in any season.
